More Halloween Photos
Garrett and his family stopped by my Halloween party for a while also. Generally, costumes are mandatory, but they didn't make it to Wal-Mart before closing and didn't have any costumes to wear. I gave their son "Johnny Ray Willy Garrett, Jr." a Bud Light and a smoke and let em join the party anyway. Special thanks to Garrett for sharing this family photo from the festivities.

This photo takes me back to those golden map making years of the 80's, when I did some of my best cartography. Nicely played.

I'm tellin ya! The horsegums post was pretty damn funny. I have to hand it to our good friend Drea - that's a pretty good response to the "horsegums" insult. She also has a lot of guts to post her entire life out there - including photos of her entire family.
Meanwhile, you could read my personal profile all you want and find out virtually nothing substantive about my life - other than I like to burn ants with a magnifying glass and dress up like a Viking (but who doesn't?!)
I also figured that you would have some sophisticated level of expertise on Garrett's family hair styling given your Purvis heritage. Thanks for the feedback on that. In case I ever want to get one of those, I will know what to call it when I visit my barber.
I looked up Purvis on Google...one of these days I am going to swing on by and visit the Purvis crew. Maybe I'll even bob for candy in Crusher's pool.

Go to your blog dashboard
selecte template
select edit
scan all the way down (about 8/10 of the way to the bottom) until you see this:
< li >< a href="http://news.google.com/">Google News< /a>< /li>
The link right under that says, EDIT ME or something like that. Follow the format of the google news link but paste in the address for the link that you want to link to where the "http..."piece is.
Then FOLLOWING THE > where it now says Google News - you can type anything you want there to describe the link and that is what will show up on your site. You want to do that or it looks crummy.

I've seen that pic so many times on mullet mockery sites, etc. I wonder the story of how it got out.. maybe the photographer laughed his ass off and shared it with a few friends... next you know, it's worldwide. I'll bet that's it.
I've seen it a hundred times too. Could you imagine if it was your family picture? I wonder if they know it is in such high circulation? I wonder if he is still driving that 1981 Camaro? I wonder whether Little Joe Dirt (aka Garrett's daugther) is in prison?
