Happy Birthday
Tomorrow is my baby's 15th birthday. She is a nut. She is the life of the party. She is non-stop energy, fun and entertainment. I like to think she takes after her dad.
I get to spend my lunch hour with her on her special day.

awww. that is so sweet. it's not often that i think children are more fun than cats but i have to admit this is one of those times.
and i bet your daughter doesn't have fleas either...
15? Is that about the age when they start hating the parents?
I never want to be the parent of a teenaged daughter.

I wish my parents would describe me as the way you describe your daughter. They just say I'm crazy without admiration.
Badgod, sometimes she hates us sometimes she doesn't - it's just the big roller coaster of teenage emotion. Scariest damn roller coaster I have ever seen.

HMH - my sister who lives in Amsterdam read me what she considered to be an absolutely hilarious email about birthday parties in Holland and about how boring they are. Have you any experience/insight as to this phenomenon?
As I'm typing these words, it is occurring to me that you might have written what she was reading to me as I think it was something someone forwarded to her which sounded like it could easily have come from your blog.

Tonight we are going out to her favorite sushi restaurant. I'm not a big fan of the Sushi, but I love a good sake!
