Happy Birthday

Tomorrow is my baby's 15th birthday. She is a nut. She is the life of the party. She is non-stop energy, fun and entertainment. I like to think she takes after her dad.

I get to spend my lunch hour with her on her special day.

Happy Birthday Punkin!

15? Is that about the age when they start hating the parents?

I never want to be the parent of a teenaged daughter.

Happy Birthday Pumpkin!

She's cute, Pinky.

I wish my parents would describe me as the way you describe your daughter. They just say I'm crazy without admiration.

Badgod, sometimes she hates us sometimes she doesn't - it's just the big roller coaster of teenage emotion. Scariest damn roller coaster I have ever seen.

HMH - my sister who lives in Amsterdam read me what she considered to be an absolutely hilarious email about birthday parties in Holland and about how boring they are. Have you any experience/insight as to this phenomenon?

As I'm typing these words, it is occurring to me that you might have written what she was reading to me as I think it was something someone forwarded to her which sounded like it could easily have come from your blog.

Tell MrsFlamingo congratulations on Punkin's 15th birthday. She's the one who deserves all the credit.
And Tell Punkin congratulations on turning 15 without being killed.
It's quite the accomplishment for both.

I think she is cute too! She looks like her mom and has her dad's personality. Who could ask for more???

Thanks for all of your sentiments. She should be here in just a few minutes for lunch. She is actually excited about eating in our cafeteria at the office.

I was going to take her out to a restaurant but she said she wanted to eat here!!

Tonight we are going out to her favorite sushi restaurant. I'm not a big fan of the Sushi, but I love a good sake!

Tell her happy birthday for me. Man, is she cute. Sure looks ornery in that pic. I'm guessing she does have your personality.

I agree with Jane, she does look like fun. I love kids like that. They can perk you up even on a bad day.

Punkin? Well this was an unknown side of you... til now.

Hey, have you and Jim hooked up?

If Flamingo and Jim "hook up," that will be an unknown side of him for me as well. Until now, at least.

it's my birthday in 5 months. does that mean you will call me pumpkin until then?

Jungle Jane, I don't have to wait for five months to call you Punkin. You are my little Australian Punkin right now.

By the way I loved your rendition of the Australian national anthem.

If you haven't already done so, swing by Jane's and listen to the audio post.

She didn't, at any time during her audio post, offer to perform oral sex on me - but it was damn funny.
